More Photoshop Bragging

Check out my latest Photoshop creation. I'm using it to illustrate a blog fest called Nappy Hour at the DesMoinesFamilies blog.

Can you see the little sleeping baby in the cherry?

Where's the Beef?

It's on my shoe.

Apparently Quincy saved me the leftovers from tonight's dinner. This is what I found waiting for me when I got home.

A little upset right now....

I have to express some frustration right now. I just composed a blog (my very first ever) and was really enjoying myself. I completed it, went to preview, and wanted to change a few things. However, I couldn't figure out how to change, so I just hit the 'back button'. You can probably guess what happened! Everything that I had just written disappeared! FUN!

I was sharing with you all that I have become the ultimate time waster with this laptop. It's probably a good thing that our wireless isn't working at home because I would probably be on the computer from the moment that I get home at night. I came to Bear Rock Cafe today to get work done and I have successfully wasted about two hours of time....depressing! E-mail is the killer of it all!

But hey, I worked over 12 hours yesterday, so I deserve a little time off, don't you agree?!?

Thanks for setting up this blog, Kel! I really like it!

Check It Out

I'm no graphic designer by any stretch of the imagination, but I was playing around with Photoshop Elements today, and look what I made... a new header for The Mother Load.

One for the Record Books

Jedd and I were eating at The Tavern, a pizza place across from Lowe's on 50th yesterday. There we were, minding our own business (as Jack would say) and SNAP!

A crazy scary noise sounding like a snapped twig arose from Jedd's mouth. He was eating a grinder sandwich, so I figured he'd inadvertently bit down on a concealed toothpick and broke it in two. That's exactly what it sounded like. But that's not exactly what happened.

No, he'd bit down the wrong way on the fork he was using to eat the last tenth of his sandwich, and he broke his tooth!

A nice little inverted V-shaped chip now marks his front left tooth. Eeek! He gets it fixed Thursday a.m., which is okay because he says it doesn't hurt. But from the sound it made, I won't be surprised if the diagnosis is more than just a chip.

Stay tuned...

My Tuesday Afternoon Office

The cleaning people have temporarily displaced me... couldn't take my laptop because I'm doing a backup... so it's just me, The Big Banana and my leopard-skin notebook.
